Not much of a surprise tbh - he's had his fingers burnt once at Sheff Utd.

Didn't think it was ever in doubt, but still over joyed knowing pen has touched paper.

Leon seems the type of guy to get this done quickly & easily so guys like Sinclair , Agustien & others may be nudged a bit to sign on . I may be a bit biased though as I worship the ground Mr. Britton walks on frankly . To me , Leon Britton is the center of the club these days .

Think Mr Britton should be given the job of speaking to any Swans players who may think the grass is greener elsewhere - not that I think that there will be many wanting to move, they should just look at what has happened to Doris and Daz! ;)

    Great news!

Great news for a quickly developing legend that is Leon. I wouldn't argue against him being granted a testimonial next year even though he temporarily flew the nest

He was forced out by Mr Sousa but couldn't wait to come back home; apparently our physios had a lot of work to do repairing his cricked neck, the result of watching all those high balls flying over his lil head! ;)

Use to piss me off when Sousa kept on in the media about " The best Swan contract ever " & it clearly upset Leon . At the time , I wondered what the best contract was compared with what was offered elsewhere . I've often wondered if Sousa was trying to half a laugh at Britton's expense or at the expense of the club itself at how low the previous " Best Swan contract ever " was , or maybe both ... just an opinion !

Amazing, leon should be a role model for any young player who is told that they will not make it in football. look at where he is now and how hard he has worked to get there. well done leon what does sousa know anyway worth every penny :):)
