Go and ask one of your statue friends to explain that last bit of the first sentence for me. How did Brexit result in “a significant increase in immigration from outside Europe”? What actually happened was a fall in immigration from inside Europe; and many of those that used to come did not stay but just worked while they were here so were not a drain on public resources. In the last five years, the number of immigrants from outside Europe has statistically rocketed because many students have stayed and converted their visas to work visas and brought relatives to this country. The immigrants from outside Europe have helped exacerbate the housing shortage. The three biggest contributors are India, Nigeria and China. We would not be employing so many immigrants if the workshy slackers signed off on the sick had their benefits cut so they had to get back to work. Astonishing that the far Right cockroaches seem to be the only ones prepared to put their heads above the parapet and call out the Islamists. What we should see on the side of Parliament is “From the Irish Sea to the North Sea”... but that would be racist.
