    Claiming provocation.
    Would reduce it to manslaughter.
On the basis she was a battered wife.

It wasn't a comment, just an explanation of what it's about

I think the points that will go against her appeal would be they were separated for 9 months, she chose to revisit him. Also the fact she had a hammer in her handbag <laugh>

He may well have been controlling her but those two points alone will not stack up well for her.

What if he'd been abusing her in some way for years?

**** would then deserve a hammer in the head, imo.

Sadly the UK legal system does not recognise that method of reconciliation <whistle>

She made him bacon and eggs, and as he ate them, bosh, scrambled head.

    This ^

If she was living with a lunatic and lost it one day on the spur of the moment, that is the grounds for a defence. However, having left his clutches, then choosing to go back and carrying out a premeditated murder, simply isn’t. That’s revenge, pure and simple. Not the same thing. She deserved her sentence and should see it out imo.

If she gets out on appeal then expect many a husband getting their head caved in next month. She hasnt got a leg to stand on as far as I'm concerned.

If it was the other way around, the hubby being nagged by his wife for years, nag nag nag, then he suddenly snaps and stoves her head in would all the feminazis support him or be shouting for him to be strung up?

Not condoning female here, but it would be construed as self defense in the colonies.. Stand your ground & s#!t..

Female being aggressor is very rare and we live in a man's world.

Read the story and it sounds like he can have no complaints about what she done to him.

Unfortunately for her, I don't think she'll win her appeal, though.

If she's released it'll be a hammer blow for justice.
