Well...another "home" decision just underlines how disrespectful British boxing is to the pugilistic art. Just watched Jamie Cox take a beating from Sai as well as having points deducted more than once for continuos low blows.....yet lo and behold he is given a unanimous decision to take the title!!! British boxing is not about the fight anymore, it is clearly about the promoters and money. This was cheating of the highest order, but I don't think Frank Warren particularly cares. What a load of utter rubbish!! Now don't get me wrong, I was rooting for Cox, but blimey, he was dismantled and should have been disqualified, yet he is given a win he most certainly didn't deserve. Cox continually hit Sai with low blows and should have been thrown out of the ring long before the final round. Sorry, but it is disgraceful what Frank Warren Promotions have done to Sai. The Ghanian came in as Champion, was much fitter and stronger, and he simply made Cox look ordinary. Total disgrace Frank Warren....how the hell do you sleep at night. The home crowd's reaction should tell you everything Frank. Disgrace!!! As Johnny Nelson has just said in the post-fight analysis..."It STINKS!!"
Quite a few people have said it was a disgraceful decision by the umpires but i very much doubt that Warren had anything to do with the decision.
Did you see the Alexander vs Mathysse, or Williams vs Lara or even Maresvs Agbeko, which was a disgrace of the highest order Does this make American boxing a bigger joke?
