Well according to the Evil Post Bristol's sporting teams haven't all won on the same weekend for six years now . This is quite unbelievable. All I can say to Bristol football fans is get rid of your ****ing Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool shirts you glory hunters or any over Premiership team and start supporting your home town team weather its Rovers or City be proud of to come from Bristol because I'm very proud. Even if we went down to the Blue Square I will still support The Gas as I have no interest or desire to support another team especially one from the Premiership who I couldn't give to hoots for. Rant over.
wasnt it january when both bristol sides won the same weekend?? presume bristol rugby didnt play that weekend then! interesting stat and shows bristol are way behind. league tables dont lie afterall.
I was shocked when someone mentioned it to me in work today. And I agree with Seamage all the Bristol clubs needs to get these glory hunting supporters to support their local team. I get the piss ripped out of me for being Welsh and supporting City from people in work. What makes it worse is they are from Bristol and Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manures supporters. Makes me sick when I go in on Mondays and they ask what was the score at the weekend. One exspecially just can't understand when I call him a glory hunter.
In my work place when some people talk about Man U and Liverpool they come out with things like "who you got this weekend and we will beat you" the way they talk anyone would think they were season ticket holders
Surprisingly enough I worked in Flax (left today) and there was more Gasheads there than City in a office of about 100 there were 3 City and 4 Rovers. Can't be arsed to count the prem fans
Never really understand anyone wearing a shirt that is not from their home town. Ok if you were lets say born in Liverpool and were now living in Bristol. But it is bad parenting to buy premier team shirts if you don't go regularly to watch the team. I think social services should put kids on the at risk register. Mind you don't seem to see many Blackburn Rovers shirts walking around any more. Wouldn't it be lovely to walk around some other city or town and saw blue and white quarters all over the place. Also you are totally correct, I would still support the gas in any division.
