Clear evidence from no less accurate a site than the BBC live results summary. Look below, and see the following: the ref blew the final whsitle as soon as Leeds were 3-1 up, after only 82 minutes Leeds actually scored not one but two own goals, so the real result should have been 3-3, but apparently the ref failed to count one of them No wonder we are picking up points. ===================================================== Live Text Commentary 90:00 +2:26 Assist by Albert Adomah. 90:00 +2:26 Goal scored Goal - Rodolph Austin - Bristol C 2 - 3 Leeds Headed own goal by Rodolph Austin. Right are you sitting down? I'll explain to you what happened. Basically all live scores on both the BBC and Sky went down just before half time today, they didn't return and everything went wrong with live scores and text updates. If you had watched any of those channels you would have noticed this and heard all the apologies.
I wouldn't believe anything on the bbc website at the moment anyway - according to the table we're 6th, having played 9 games and accumulated 16 points. Maybe they can predict the future
Same reasons as I gave earlier, there is a major fault with the scoring and updating system for football within the media, it kicked in around 3.40pm today and is not yet resolved.
There is only one source for live service. All media sources use the system and when it faults, there is no other back up system.
I'm lost, what is the joke about a well documented problem with the live scores and updating of football statistics on both Sky and BBC? There isn't a joke or anything to gain from stating from what most people already know is a technical fault. J'sus, next you'll be stating how funny Dom Jolly's new programme is or how that prick who does the same movies over and over again, Sacha Baron Cohen, is the funniest man on the universe. ****E.
The table had us with 3 extra points having already played 9 games. The 'joke' (I now doubt the hilarity of it somewhat) was that perhaps the BBC had foreseen victory for us in midweek. Obviously I'm well aware about the problems they've faced, and I wasn't stating that it was a technical fault. Sorry if our respective senses of humour don't match up particularly well!
In which case I apologise for the poor attempt at humour, I will endeavour to do better in the future
