We urge those present who booed when the players took the knee to reflect on their behaviour and its racist impact.

The statement is so poorly written I have read this several times and do not understand its meaning.

By booing the knee you are racist/being racist/creating racism? How is their judgement (the trust) formed? Dunno.

Over the last 12 months, professional footballers across the country in various leagues have been taking the knee prior to kick-off to highlight the ongoing fight against racism both here and abroad.

We are now (again!) protesting racism abroad? All of it, some?

Supporters trust criticise the fans who boo their own players before a ball is kicked in the new season. Don't see a problem with that

It’s the players choice so let’s at least respect that.

The supporters trust have gone futher than criticse .. I think.
    • What does racist impact mean?
    • Why would this booing be racist?
    • Were the fans booing the players or an act?
If I and I obvioulsy would not call you a racist .. Well I would see a problem with my unpleasant and judgemental behaviour.

It was a very small minority, I heard booing from my seat in the Dolman for literally 2 seconds before it was drowned out by everyone clapping, it was hardly noticeable

I was at the game, firstly it was minimal and most importantly almost impossible to detect where the booing was coming from, but hey let's just blame BCFC fans.

I was fairly lowdown in the Dolman 4 of us sat together and none of us could say with any degree of certainty where the barely audible booing came from.

    Booing the act.

But no question answered in relation to the Trust statement.

Some of these lads were also at the Lions flag day then on to the standing section. Are we really saying they are booing the players but started their day of support early doors to not suppport the team? Support starts, stops a fraction before kick off, then starts again.

They are booing an act. What sort of racism is this? It is crass and prejudiced to suggest these fans are racist and deeply unfair.

So nobody is allowed to kneel anymore without the risk of being booed?

That is not an answer to questions either. Do you consider the booing of the contentious taking of the knee to have a racist impact? If this is yes how do you come to your conclusion? Evidence?

In the case of the Trust they can't know why fans boo the taking of the knee unless they ask them, and if they don't ask they can only be representing themselves, not fans widely as they purport to do.

Why should they talk to them? Its the Bristol City Supporters Trust. People who boo Bristol City players are not Bristol City Supporters so not in their remit

Yes its the Trusts role to represent supporters. It is a reason the Trust exists. The Supports Trust is maligning (?) a section of fans as racists. Do you feel that is fair and resonable? If yes can you explain how you have arriived at your conclusion? Evidence?

People who boo Bristol City players are not Bristol City Supporters .. These fans clearly are supporters.

You were asked a few questionds politely. I will take it you can't answer.

If individuals purchase a season ticket they are supporting the club. These people are supporters. Some of these supporters via flag days etc is fanatical = Fans. They are both supporters and fans and both literally.

So something is occurring that alters some fans and some supporters to alter their behaviour for seconds when the knee is taken? Clearly the act is an antecedent for some fans and some supporters to alter their behaviour. Why?

Yes you did and well done but could you also state with total certainty that some of the booing came from the other end, because had the booing come only from the South stand, myself and friends would have picked that up.

Why does it matter if it came from the other end?
