Always going to be 1 winner from this. The Gas always win and yet again we have won. Full time score.... Gas 3 City 2. City had a few ex players like Scott Murray & Alex Russell playing for them. The Gas only had 1 ex player in Dave Gilroy playing in the blue and white. So the fans are continuing where the 1st teams have finished from, Gas winning and City losing. Long may that continue
Oh I don't know, maybe the team with a better head to head record would be favourites.. But it's for a good cause, and there is another match between the two teams today, legends match.. well done to everyone involved
better head to head? that would be the gas as well since you formed your new club as for the other game today, i know. a thread was put on both boards about it a while ago. banksy made a new thread your side about it we won the legends match last season 7-6 so lets see if the legends can carry on from where the 1st team/youths and fans finished off.... gas win and city lose
Games won: 43 Games drawn: 33 Games lost: 29 As Rafael Benitez would say, these are facts and are in the history book, nothing you can say or do will change that.. Tough isn't it.. And for the gas finishing strong, a loss against accrington stanley and scraping a draw against Toruqay.. you sure are on the way up
here we go again your old club is beating us on head to heads. your new club is losing to us as for us finishing strong, last few games suggest not strong, you are correct. however i meant that we ended up automatic promotion form since game one under ward. to end on promotion form, suggests we ended the season strong. the same stat can be used in different ways to help prove a conflicted point of view the way my stats are used are better
ok, we can count the fans derbies then. we won every one so far so your even more way behind however, fans derby, legends derby, friendlies and testimonials wont count in any record/history books. so the 3-0 win for you dont and wont ever count as it was never a competitive game. last competitive game was our 1-0 win thanks to lamberts goal, even more funny that we were a league below you too. that must be embarrassing for you
No the last time the 2 teams met we beat you 3 nil cjs. doesn't matter if its a friendly or not. Both wanted to win. Im sure if the Manchester clubs, Celtic and rangers. Inter and AC would feel the same, They would all want to win. Martyn Woolford scored against you. NOW THAT has to be embarrassing
here we go again, a confused gashed trying to re-write the history books trying to cling onto anything and everything to make you feel better attendances, league positions, and head to head records are all against you. What's your excuse for that?
Don't forget that was our worst team for years who beat the blue few 3-0 Of course they were trying, you should of read the comments on here before the game.. "we'll smash em" "we'll show them how good our team is" "hope we beat the ****ers" after the game.. "it's only a friendly.. who cares"
wasnt a competitve game shiny. that result may as well be a made up score as it dont and wont ever be in any record/history book and not in any stats on head to head as it dont count as it wasnt a competitive game. that is fact. it dont count. you can count it if you like, whatever floats your boat my friend. but it would be wrong to count it also i disagree with all want to win. in friendlies and testimonials, these types of game are for the enjoyment of the person whose testimonial it is and for the fitness and for working on performances. of course some fans want to win these games. those who think its a competitive game would want to win. those who knows its a nothing game, a friendly game couldnt care aless on the score.
*confused? not me! i like to stick to the facts *re-write history books? you wont find the 3-0 result in the history books as it dont count *attendances? your attendances are shocking for championship. give you an example... we (a league 2 side) took more away to ipswish at the start of the season on a week night, than you took to ipswhich in the league on a saturday *your league position over us wont last for long or the attendances when we get the uwe stadium opened head to heads? here we go again depends if you count both your clubs together or not just like the jpt game... you all claimed you will stuff us, yet after the game it was all "its only a micky mouse cup"
All ifs butts, and maybes as always.. And for ipswich away.. where's the proof? Remember, you are all about facts.. show me this "factual" piece of information then And no, you're still smiley queen
cjs you sound like the kid at school who has just lost at Wembley "THAT DONT COUNT THAT DONT COUNT" No matter how much you butter coat it to make you feel better. The last time our teams met we won. Your team wanted to win as did ours. You fans wanted you team to win as did our. You wanted rovers to win. As did I. Accept it
Oh, and the part about having poor attendances in the championship.. Take a look at your numbers in the championship http://www.european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/brir.htm
rovers took 264 to ipswich last season on a week night. comment number 47 http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.ph...for-rovers-matches-in-the-season-ahead/page-3 city took 240 on a saturday http://www.bcfc.co.uk/news/article/away-days-201213-426086.aspx all facts
shiny, i have accepted it. i accepted it when it happened. yes well done you won 3-0. congrats. i have never said anything different. im just saying it dont count in any statistic or record/history book and it will never count as it wasnt a competitive game. accept it well done on winning a non competitive game. shame you can do it when it actually counts and matters
