Not sure if this is a good idea at the end of the season.

It will only be a case of if if if.

Must admit...I felt sorry for the guy when I saw him being helped off the pitch and during the interview later.

I find rovers directors managers etc are never very forthcoming with info compared to us city, david lloyd is always answering questions i think the lansdowns are quite open compared to higgs, dunceford, etc

Remember he had eight games to save them and blew it.
Whats makes their board think he is the man to take them back up.

8 games he had to work with the same players that ward couldnt motivate as he was unable to sign anyone. he took after the emergency loan window closed. he was stuck with injured and unfit players as well as those who thought they were safe and already thinking of their holidays and by the looks of it players who couldnt be assed in training and youngster thinking they are gods gift and some players use to a drinking culture!

he was signed to be wards replacement and has a lot of ideas how to take us forward which he put to ward but ward made his own decisions. he has said the right things and has won the support and backing from the fans. he has experience of non league which cannot be ignored.

time will tell if this was the right decision but at the moment he is winning us all over.

As I have said elsewhere, Ward is not one of my favourite managers. I think he is full of bulls**t and apart from one season at City has made a well paid career as a very ordinary and dull manager. He says the right things in interviews but it is just rhetoric.

Just reading what Clarke said tonight on radio, he appears to be young, ambitious an very determined to pull you round. CJS, you could do a lot worse than him.

I only heard the last 10 minutes of the programme last night - I was impressed with how he came accross

Not an easy task when faced with that situation. Ole couldn't do it at Cardiff nor Magath at Fulham.

Personally think Rovers almost have to go back to basics, and re-build. It might take a year or two longer but it will be worth it in the end.

Be careful what you say, after the ****e you talked about SoD could not do anything with 20 games last year.

Things can come back and haunt you.

Banksy, it just demonstrates how impatient and unrealistic some are.

Funny last year when we had 20 games, transfer window and loan window to go, 4 points from safety but not even SAF could save us.

    What do you think Nick?
