    i have taken the opportunity to welcome bristol city to the meadow. it looks as though our local derby against wolves may be posponed but you never know.

    It is so tight at the bottom of the Championship that anyone below halfway must be looking over their shoulders. If Wolves were to go down we should be looking forward to a West Midlands mini-league in League 1 with us, Wolves, Walsall and Port Vale. I bet Roland would be licking his lips at the thought of all those local derby crowds - do you think we could sell out a home legue game against Wolves?

    and you will be very welcome. fairly new stadium, excellent bars and pies. theaway supportesr are in the north stand, behind a goal. write nearer the time for pubs. there is a train service change at newport. or by road, m5.m6.m54.or leisurly drive, bristol, gloucester, newent , dymock, a49 leominster 0nto shrewsbury. about 130 miles.

    for a really nice drive, monmouth, ross, hereford and shrewsbury. and very good luck to city.
