Off to the game at 13.00 - attending the Remembrance Day ceremony at The Cross in Tewkesbury has, as always, put everything in life into its proper context. Lest We Forget.
Already here tewkes- had to go for a roast first with some old friends. Strange day with it being Sunday, just all of the little differences playing havoc with my brain(trains not as regular etc). Feeling more confident as we get nearer to the game, but I think it's a dead cert baldock will score, so he will be my first goalscorer bet with charlton to win 2-1.
Haynes hit the post again straight afterwards. Bristol City getting back into the game now. Adomah and Baldock with chances
Massive win that, Good to see us keep a clean sheet too. Can't wait to hear the reports from the travelling fans
Cracking stuff, not only a win but a clean sheet as well after 8 goals conceded in 2 games. 7 points off the relegation zone, 7 points away from the play-offs. I don't mind that one bit. Look forward to hearing from those who were there.
In Powell we trust quality performance by all accounts so all the doubters can....DO ONE comfortably mid table our away form is promotion winning form
Apparently we are going to recall Mambo from Wimbledon to sit on the bench next week. And give Fox his debut so Seaborne can sit on the bench too. CP is not confident of our ability to hold on to a lead. We managed to do so today with only four centre-halves on the pitch, but CP feels that against better sides like Burnley we will need at least six. To show he is not bitter, Green is hosting a party at Christmas for all his clubmates who have been preferred to him to start or as sub. He wants to know how much it would cost to book the Albert Hall.
Happy enough now. a clean sheet (finally) and three more points to take us into mid table. Don't know about the Albert Hall Eddie, is he that confident everyone will turn up?
