Depends how interested Wolves are in this tie Their focus might be on survival in the Premiership He says hopefully !
……. And we have one eye on making the playoffs. It could be a clash of the ‘B’ teams….!!!!! Obviously I always want us to win, but I’d rather concentrate on our league games. I also don’t want to see any injuries or bans as a result of this fixture.
We’ve been on a couple of decent runs this season But I think we’re still 2-3 real quality players behind the teams above us Maybe in the next couple of years if we continue to improve we might be there or thereabouts Yet again our highlights were shorter than all of the Championship and most of L1 and L2 games
The trouble is Angelic; the cycle of BCFC means that just as a team is beginning to gel nicely - and that magic player is the only missing link to make it work perfectly - 2 or 3 of our critical first-teamers get sold off, throwing us back to the beginning again, before that ‘magic’ player can be onboarded.

Great comments from you both and I too have noticed the short thrift we get from the broadcasters for games on the telly and as for the EFL highlights it seems like we get the worst and least coverage. I forget how many seasons most supporters have said on 606 that we are this or that short to making us a strong contender and I would fully agree that it has happened way too often. I would love to know who truly has the last say on incoming players because for years when we said we needed an experienced mid-fielder, or two, we would end up with 2 left backs and a goalkeeper and when we said we needed 2 decent defenders we would end up with 3 right sided forwards. I hope you get my gist which is we are very close to being totally inept at meeting the criteria for a successful run at the play-offs and I doubt we will do the right thing in January - but there's always hope I suppose?
Remembering Ashton Gate’s record attendances during FA Cup fever in 1935 https://www.bristol247.com/sport/fo...-record-attendances-during-fa-cup-fever-1935/
It’s the same old story, in 2 or 3 year time any decent players we have won’t be here. I’m not keen on the PL as it happens, but get very frustrated by keep losing our best players. One day it’ll have to be in the now, rather than in another 2-3 years.
Like a lot of other people I am sick and tired of the same old rhetoric year after damned year with no hope of ever getting anywhere nice. Our team has everything going for it except desire, common sense or ambition.
