cracking saves by Hamer Absolutly fantastic was a cracking game to watch and both keepers made fantastic saves.
Fair result I thought.

I suppose I could moan about the penalty - not that it shouldnt have been awarded - of course it should it was about as clear pen as any you’ll see - but Dickie is a professional championship player and he should have known better than to jump for a high ball whilst waving his hands in the air

I didn't see it in real time. It was only when it was replayed that it became obvious. I do think it is very difficult to jump as high as sometimes needed with yours arms at your sides.
Yes you are going to use your hands when you jump, bit of a lottery if the ball hits your hand, it's not deliberate in most cases.
Nice to have some very nice BC fans chatting here.
Its also difficult to jump high to head a ball without levering yourself up using an opponent's back or shoulders - as Bristol's Twine did yesterday when he jumped all over Livermore to score.
I'm convinced that had that been Rajovic at the other end the goal would have been disallowed - referees are just too inconsistent.
Terrific day out. Decent game (so much better than last week, and we won that!) but showed why both teams are in mid table. Fair result.
