upload_2024-1-18_9-0-39.png v upload_2024-1-18_8-37-18.jpeg upload_2024-1-18_8-38-17.png This is going to be a interesting game against Watford-We absolutely played them off the park at Vicarage Road with a convincing win-however our last two championship games we have been shocking and deserved both losses.
However the side the beat West Ham over the two legs were excellent.

We need to get back to picking up points in the championship if we are serious about a play off push.
Scott Twine I'm sure will start in the 10 role hopefully giving us a better edge up front.
I do not see us getting a score line like we did at Vicarage Road more likely a 2-1 win or even a draw.
    Here's hoping.

High likelihood of a cup hangover here. Watford have gotten much better in the league since that game, and we have gotten worse. I'd take a draw tbh.

I can’t see us winning this.
We’re distracted by the cup run. 2017 all over again.

They’ll also be keen to avenge the 4-1 drubbing we gave them recently

We are better against teams that are prepared to attack and leave space, we aren’t good against teams that sit in. I can’t see Watford sitting in they’ll want to get at us, I think it’ll be a good open game, as long as we aren’t to full of ourselves after the WHU game I think we’ll Nick it, but it’ll be close, they’re a good side and I believe are on a good run.

No McCrorie? I think he will start again. I’m not sure who will drop out, either Mehmeti, or James, or maybe rest Williams.

We can’t rush McCrorie back, so to me it make sense he drops to the bench for this game. The midfield has real depth now, as there is also TGH. Just need a striker now…

McCrorie doesn't look a midfielder to me.
I know it's early, he's rusty and has to adjust to the Championship, but he seems a right sided defender for me.

    Match stats
    • Bristol City are looking to complete a league double over Watford for the first time since the 1990-91 season.
    • Watford have only lost one of their last 13 league visits to City (W3 D9), a 2-0 defeat in January The last two meetings between the pair at Ashton Gate have ended goalless.
    • City are winless in their last three league games (D1 L2), while failing to score in each of those matches; the Robins last went four league matches without scoring in February 2021.
    • Watford are unbeaten in their last five away league games (W4 D1), they last had a longer such run in the Championship in April 2015 (9 games), earning promotion to the Premier League at the end of that campaign.
    • No player has been involved in more Championship goals for Watford this season than Yáser Asprilla (8 – 4 goals, 4 assists), while all 38 of his chances created this season have come from open play, only Finn Azaz (64) and Georginio Rutter (55) have more among players without creating a chance from a set play.
