I sense it will happen tomorrow.....I can smell it.....McNaughton reads this forum.....he wants it badly......now give us a goal....he`s been goal hanging and even tried a shot against Huddersfield. Come on Kev give us a hat trick!
Head-to-head • Bristol City boast a 50% winning home league record against Cardiff, having secured 18 victories from the 36 clashes. ⢠Cardiff are vying for a sixth win from seven Championship matches against the Robins. • A 3-0 triumph on New Year's Day, 2011, is the only victory Bristol City have secured in nine league meetings with Cardiff. Bristol City • Tuesday's 4-1 win over Crystal Palace was the Robins' fifth successive league game without defeat at Ashton Gate. • Only Bristol City and Sheffield Wednesday have as many as four goalscorers this season. • If selected, Liam Fontaine will be appearing for the 250th time in English and Scottish league football, while Brett Pitman will be making his 250th English league appearance. Cardiff City • The only club with a watertight defence in the Championship, following a 1-0 home win over Huddersfield and a midweek goalless draw at Brighton. • Undefeated in 12 regular league games, winning five and drawing seven subsequent to a 3-0 home defeat by Hull on 13 March. • Not lost a league game on the road since the 3-0 reverse to Ipswich on 18 February. Mutch is a late fitness test...
Fancy our chances tomorrow. The more games we play the better we'll get and with a bit more depth in the squad I don't think we'll run out of steam. The boys on the pitch will want to prove themselves so as not to be dropped for the new arrivals. KimBo on the plane and will be with us soon. I've put Mutch down to score in the prediction league. He can't be crocked. hopefully Brizzle will come at us after their 4-1 win and will create an open game that will leave our attacking players thrive. Heaton in for a good workout.
Just hope we dont get a penalty, he's bound to save it !! Oh wait a minute we have to get in the box to get one of them !
Anyone noticed that since Jay left us for greener grass, we've hardly had a penalty awarded to us...also that a red card is rarer than a McNaughton goal? What a scenario tomorrow, Just after Bristol City hand us the usual own goal, McNaughton steps up to stroke home a penalty, and then gets sent off for celebrating too much!
Can't say I'm surprised with Bellamy, seems fatigue may have set in. Amazed against Huddersfield how much hoofing Turner did with all the class available to him.
