V V Back to the championship with another of the promotion favourites visiting Ashton Gate for another ridiculous 12:30pm kick off. No thought for the away fans that have a four hour trip each way and the home fans that work in the mornings and usually get to the 3:00 pm kick offs with no issues. Bristol City go into the game having lost two games all season -however drawing far to many-I notice Burnley's results have been 5 draws in their last seven games. I fancy us for a win on Saturday with a close 2-1 win. Bad news with Joe Williams having a partial Achilles tendon tear. Going to be out for some months with that. I expect Liam Manning to have a strong squad to pick his first eleven from. I really would like to see two strikers up front possibly Armstrong alongside Wells -i really think they could cause big problems for any defence in the championship. However i believe he will stick with his one up front approach.

We are getting better and better and are a hard side to beat at present-going to be tough but i don't see these as any better than Leeds and Sheff Utd.

I can’t remember us ever beating Burnley. Has it ever happened? If so, it must have been a long time ago. On a separate note; I played my first game of ‘proper’ 5-a-side last night with my son’s mates and despite the freezing conditions I managed to get through without having a heart attack - in fact I surprised myself how I managed to run around. It felt good - just like old times for most of the game - until my calf ‘twanged’ 10 minutes before the end and I had to go in goal. Scored 2 and set up 4 - vs players half my age!! Back in business..!!!! Lost 8-6 in the end - due to some dubious decisions Limping around today with what feels like permanent cramp in my right calf - but mentally good!

Strong squad…… clearly the author of the article hasn’t done there homework very well on our current injury crisis…
We can deffo beat them, I don’t think they are that good, obviously not as good as under Kompany when they were last in this division.
