So we brushed aside Sunderland with apparent ease - thought that may have been a very awkward fixture however proved not to be. Celina started, Waggy tore it up right mid. Crumbs! More of the same please. However, Bristol City seem to be made of tougher stuff and much improved this year. They'll be targeting top 6 and have spent a little bit this summer. Tough encounter this, more of the same please! Same line up do we feel? Will Mick rotate it around slightly as he may fear Bristol City or give the same 11 another chance? Predictions?
Imagine Mick might bring back one or both of Nydam and Ward for Celina and Waghorn. Think they perhaps offer more stability in the midfield, but by the looks of last night we operated with something similar to a 4231 at times with Waghorn, McG and Celina playing in front of an Adayemi and Skuse base and interchanging behind Garner, which given a few games could be a very fruitful system for us. I think we'll huff and puff and grind out a win, albeit not as exciting as Tuesday's. with a few glimpses of quality but a solid professional performance 2-1 McGoldrick and Ward
Errm..i'll predict another boring 0-0 stalemate (i predicted both Leeds and Sunderland games would be 0-0).
There's my Spanish! You must be bloody hating this mate, good start top scorers stupid dino. Joking ( semi joking ) aside though, I do get the feeling it could go wrong anytime however hope it doesn't. You'll all be thrilled to learn I'll be doing my 1/4 of the season review after the Bristol City game Sunday - if you need something to send you to sleep, that may be the one
What the hell its Friday and pay day!! I am going for a 3-1 WIN McGoaldrick Waggy Garner The only downside is that Mick will keep his job!
I'll have whatever most of you are having ... Bristol City are unbeaten in 10 games and they've only lost once this season in all competitions. I personally have this down as a narrow 2-1 defeat.
Yep we are playing some cracking stuff guys, going for a narrow 2-1 city win,by the way Ipswich is my second team going back to the golden years that Ipswich enjoyed. At school everybody followed the big boys, me i followed Ipswich what a team that was under Bobby,we are both craving for that again, what with us being out of the top flight for 25+ years.
They've not beaten us at Portman Road since 1978! I hope they bring more than the usual 400 - 550 for once.
