relegAtion for ouR team is certain this Season A working out of all methods in assessing it points to the fact based on:-

historically, current form, past form , season form, its peaks and troughs, playing whom and when taking in regard to the oppositions current and past form etc we have just missed the boat....

I wasn't going to reply over the tosh of this article but felt I had to.

Nothing is certain but with 4 points clear with 12 points to play for so it is unlikely we will be caught unless we lost every game to the end of the season which on 'form' I cant see that happening as we will pick up some more points.

Going on 'History' we had not beaten Forest at their ground since the 70's in the league and against history we won.

Don't be a choob get behind the team.

Have you been at that Scrumpy again John ?

Andy - don't mean to be pedantic but we hadn't won in Nottingham since 1954/55 according to Sky Sports last Saturday evening. Last time we beat them in the league was in 1973 at the Gate

I think John is going for the psychology message. Maybe he thinks it might work for Mancini so he would try it here ;)

sorry if i overreacted but we are finally winning games (last two) so the feeling on here should be positive. We should be looking forward not backwards

Its a wind up, looking for this sort of reaction....

Based on what we saw last week, do you honestly see Coventry getting anything other than a damn good thumping at Burnley tomorrow...???!

I've bet on it, you can get Evens on Burnley or 13/5 for -1 goal

    What..?!!!

Coventry went into the match with us unbeaten in 7.. and with 2 games Burnley away and Millwall home- they will be looking to get at least 4 points- Doncaster at home should be 3pts.. total of 7 points, which means we must get 4 points from our 3 games to be ahead for the last match v Burnley away, Coventry have Soton who despite tonights defeat should be guaranteed automatic prom. I really hope they do get a good thumping at Burnley- but I am worried, very worried. We really need 6 pts from our final 4 matches- I am sure we will do it, but don't underestimate Coventry.

COR BLIMEY.........READING TOP, now go back to when they beat us....they havent looked back since.

betting is statistically sound...overall bookies never lose...why? because statistically the fav doesnt win every time and there are so many bookies that their percentage of 20-30% on the book means even when a fav wins ( except big ante post punts) they seldom ALL get stung....

THIS TIME TOMORROW it will be 0040hrs

Coventry went into the game against us on a crest of a wave, we beat them.

In November we were on that crest. Then look what happened

Teams down the bottom are down because we all struggle to get back into the swing of things once derailed. Hopefully they will go back to being not confident and have a blip again.

And with Southampton needing to go all out and beat them on the final day as they will know if West Ham win today they will only be 3 points behind them.

YEP which could be bloody bad on us, west ham could go in to our game knowing a win could see them joint 2nd, but i still think a win against barnsley will keep us up, i cant Coventry losing just 1 of there final games

Yep true but also Southampton have only one remaining home game now, Petersborough and Middlesborough. So West ham can afford one slip <ok>

JGF, I have just noticed on another thread for the Grand National that you put a bet on for Birmingham and Coventry to win.
Are you trying to wind us up, as no self respecting City fan would do that!

We go into todays game with a bit of form behind us - 2 wins giving much needed confidence to our fragile squad
It's going to be nip and tuck - if we get anything out of today's game it will be a bonus IMO

I still think we've got a bit more in our tank than people give us credit for and I don't just mean Del and Doc,it could carry on today.

    Up the City.
