    Me too!

Actually when you read it the article says "Andrews has put in a number of solid performances for the Sky Bet League One outfit this season, who currently sit top of the division"

Hang on a minute. If this kid is so good then shouldn't we make every effort to keep him for the future? I read a lot of complaints on this site regarding academy players that always seem to end up somewhere else.

The type of player who should get some bench time when we have secured our main goal - promotion.

Look what happened to Bobby Reid, breaking through last year but not a sniff this year. I reckon that if for whatever reason if you cross swords with SC you're gone. Look at Elliot Parish. Be interested to know City's view on the subject as most supporters have never heard of him

maybe they are getting confused with Keith Andrews, self-confessed 'best player in the world'. I wouldn't be surprised if he describes himself as a 17 year old wonderkid. After all he is playing for the best team in Division One.

Don't think it's a case of crossing swords with Cotts... More if you're not good enough you don't get in the team. If you would have Reid ahead of any of our current midfielders then you need your head examining! As for Parish... Well less said the better. Another questionable signing from SOD!

As for this kid, never heard of him but it's great to see he has put in a number of solid performances for us this season! He must be like Gilberto was to Arsenal "the invisible wall" as I don't think I've seen him on the pitch. He must be good though so I hope we can keep him!

One minute Parish was in the first team and then he could not even get on the bench. Then it was stated that despite having a contract "he was available for transfer". I am not saying hew as special but what other explanation is there?
As for Reid well he was at least on a par with Bryan last season

No where near Bryans level now. Parish was Number 1 when Cotterill took over, he even got someone in to help bulk him up, Parish wasn't doing himself any favours and was rightly dropped for Fielding and Moore. He was then sent out on loan to get game time at Newport where they sent him back early despite only having 1 keeper (who had just come back from injury) because of how poor he was. He might well have had words with Cotterill (that's just your pure speculation and you have no evidence to back this up) but it wasn't the reason he was dropped. Being an average keeper was the reason.

I see, so this is a good chance to give Cotts a coating because he's not playing a player that you've never heard of in a side thats 13 points clear of 2nd place and romping it..because of a report in a nothing blog that doesn't even know he hasn't played for the first team yet.

And this leads to completely unfounded assumptions that Cotts will blank you if you cross swords with him (with no evidence of this other than the poster guessing?) and even if he does, How many times have I read on here about a lack of respect and discipline in modern football, so when we have a manager who requires it, you want to coat him down??

    ****in unbelievable.

By the way this would not be a failure of the academy, it would be a success!!
