It's looking good that we will sign Little. Talks between the club, agent and player are at an advanced stage.

No, I am pleased when we get new blood into the squad as it keeps the rest on their toes.
I have to trust Burt and Cotterill on the players they bring in. My only reservation was the nasty , apparently deliberate, tackle by Little on Cole Skuse.
Perhaps I am now a bit old fashioned in that I still believe that our players should play the game as did Big John and many others in bygone eras.
Or do I expect too much? I expect there may be many Liverpool supporters who will swallow their ideals and accept the goals that Suarez will score during the coming season in spite of his obnoxious behaviour.
If I ever have to make that choice, I hope that I will prefer the armchair on a Saturday instead of my seat at the Gate. Times change but it is still only sport.
