Left back released from Southampton 21 years old. He's very highly rated and tipped to be the next Gareth bale because he can play LM/LW. Would be great to play in front of Cunningham
bit of both really. Someone on the OTIB said earlier today that we have been in talks with Ben Reeves and his dad saying SOD is friends with them. It's also all over twitter as well so there must be some truth in it. Us and Bournemouth were rumoured to be interested.
A back seat I would imagine. He'll play for us next season but a signing like this will push him back down in the pecking order but he would be great back up for cunningham and Reeves as he can play in either position
Cunningham hasn't really been mentioned in a transfer rumour yet, Hoping it keeps quite and he sees just what is happening here and sticks around to help us get promoted.
Apart from some reported interest from Cardiff you mean? If S O'D is looking at signing another LB he must think that Greg could be one of the players we might lose along with Albert rather than those we wish we could lose anywhere.
Well he has been like I said, Very highly rated, They must of released him to make room for wages to bring in players are a ready now. Well anyway let hope he is the nest Gareth bale and we have him at our club next season.
Gareth Bale was thinking of joining us as he wanted to be closer to his hometown, but Kilkenny would not allow it as he says he's the best player at our club, and thinks Bale does not deserve the merit to play alongside him.
Well so he is I'm sure I read somewhere on the OS that Kilkenny is the best tiddlywink player at Ashton Gate something to do with him being nearer the ground
I'd happily take him. Southampton have a good reputation for raising good players, so I say we take him on and rotate a bit with Cunningham, Bryan, and Reeves.
Alistair Durden ‏@alidurdenBBC 5h Bristol City have spoken with the agent of ex-Southampton defender/midfielder Ben Reeves. One of many players discussed but no offer made. https://twitter.com/alidurdenBBC
Good to have it confirmed, Hope we tie up a deal because if we sell Adomah we will have one decent winger in Anderson but I get the impression from SOD that we wont be playing a wide game next season and could imagine a 3 man midfield with a Holding midfielder behind them and one up top.
Going to need another rb then as Moloney is not comfortable as a wingback not sure why but it was something that was on twatter when we signed him I think you might have posted it come to think. I only see the bits that I can access on the PC.
