    Here is the offical avg away attendance in the football league since 2009, we sit 33rd and rovers 39th.

    Bristol City 09/10 avg 929............. Bristol Rovers 09/10 avg 684..

    Bristol City 10/11 avg 682 ............. Bristol Rovers 10/11 avg 615..

    Both very poor away followings in truth.

    You could even argue that given their lower league status Rovers probably take more fans pro rata then we do.

    The numbers show how poorly both clubs have performed in the last five years. The sixth/seventh largest city in England is, at present, an also ran in football terms.
