This sums it up perfectly. We are sorted at the back, rectify the midfield and striking positions and we can move to the top six or more. They continue to boast the equal sixth best defensive record in the league (on goals conceded) but have the 16th best attack (on goals scored).
I thought we were very good at the back yesterday. Someone commented on another thread that it didn't look as if Derby possession stats were accurate on highlights. They did have a lot of possession but we defended so well that they didn't generally cause us many problems. A lot of their possession in our half consisted of playing the ball sideways and then back again. Our concentration levels were very high though I thought Kelly showed some naivety at times. If we could just finish some of the chances we create on the break we may see us rise up the table. But then again, I imagine lots of fans from other teams are saying the same thing. Up front I think Fammy is coming into some form. His holdup play was excellent at times.
Kelly yesterday caused a few issues,he needs to eradicate this from his game, very naive quite a few times and this has happened in quite a lot of games.
