From the 1st of January all ticket prices are going up by £10. and a food voucher will be issued instead.. 1 pie and cup of tea/coffee/ choco. It is expected to only increase the sale of pies to 1000 as 5000 fans are unlikely to cash in on the deal. hang on a minute surely tea doesn't cost that much...
Today's world is all about the extras that can be added on to the base price. I jus bought a new car and the offer made me had over $2000 added to the base cost of the vehicle, so I told them to stuff it and went somewhere all those extra cost were not added. Enjoy the pie and tea.
The catering team couldn't even sell 500 pies without getting in a pickle. Longer queues inevitable Also it doesn't take a genius to realise that a pie and tea costs less than £10 to buy in the ground. Some hopeless twat with a marketing degree probably thought of this one. jgf2 will explain but Leeds are having a similar problem with a pie tax.. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/34990259
When the whole economic viability of your football team rests on selling pies and the whole country depends on the taxes collected from selling pies then you have a problem. Have a nice day.
