I've never been a fan of Bristol city since the FA cup 5th round tie in 94 (http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football-fa-cup-fifth-round-robsons-level-head-1395239.html) It was a cracking cup tie and a great day out but, for a large group of numb nut City fans who decided it would be fun to throw bricks and other building materials found in a near by skip at the departing Charlton fans which included women and children. I was 13 and my cousin was 10, so it was very much our first taste of such violence. Not a good advertisement for your club.
