It has been suggested that we could do with having a thread for members who want to know various facts about Bristol City football club and/or players etc. I have agreed to try and fill this role so if you have questions about the club I will do my best to find the answers for you.

Later on when the matches start I will also be trying to do a post match Thread about the game and what the players scored according to different papers/tv etc. I will post more about this as I work out the best way to do it. I will also try and find links for anything Bristol City match related.

Sorry to have to report that at the moment there is nothing new in the offing about either redevelopment of Ashton Gate, Planning approval is being asked for in September and the 'New' Stadium at Ashton Vale is waiting on the Judicial review starting in October. All a bit of a pain I know but as and when anything new comes up I will report it unless someone else sees it first.

Under-8s £23 anywhere in the ground, including in the dedicated Family Stand.
Under-16 has now been extended to an Under-18

City will be looking to reward loyalty better than ever before, whilst other popular added benefits remain, including away travel discount, 15% off in the BCFC Megastore, a free programme for a selected game and the opportunity to bring a friend to any one match for free, as well as free entry to all home under-21 and Bristol Academy fixtures in the FA Women’s Super League.

There is also a zebra finance option available in which fans can break down the cost into ten monthly payments. An additional £30 administration charge will apply, but provides cover for up to four season tickets.

Season tickets go on sale next Thursday (May 30th) by calling 0117 963 0600 or in person from Ashton Gate. Supporters should note purchases will not be available online to begin with due to the implementation of an innovative new system still being fine-tuned.
Existing season ticket holders should note they have until Monday, July 1st to reclaim their current seat for the new campaign.

Season Ticket Prices 2013/14

WEDLOCK STAND
Adult £235, Senior Citizen £189, Under-21/Disability £159, Under-18 £52, Under-8 £23, Family £493.
ATYEO STAND
Adult £329, Senior Citizen £225, Under-21/Disability £159, Under-18 £52, Under-8 £23, Family £683.
DOLMAN STAND BLOCKS A-B & F-N
Adult £375, Senior Citizen £249, Under-21 £189, Disability £159, Under-18 £52, Under-8 £23, Family £773.
DOLMAN STAND BLOCKS C-E
Adult £395, Senior Citizen £279, Under-21 £215, Disability £159, Under-18 £52, Under-8 £23, Family £813.
WILLIAMS STAND
Adult £375, Senior Citizen £249, Under-21 £189, Disability £159, Under-18 £52, Under-8 £23, Family £773.
FAMILY STAND
Adult & Child £339, Adult & Two Children £349, Two Adults & Two Children £655, Senior Citizen & Child £235, Senior Citizen & Two Children £255.

*Please note all prices labelled 'family' refer to two adults and two children (under-18s or under-8s). Birth dates are as follows:
Senior Citizen - born on or before 01/08/1948
Under-21 - born on or after 01/08/1992
Under-18 - born on or after 01/08/1995
Under-8 - born on or after 01/08/2005

At the moment the City site is crashing when you try and look in more depth at the ticketing pricing so all I can currently do is reprint what is on the OS without all the nonessential bits, I think the problem is they are trying to convert everything so it all goes through the new American system and it isn't working yet.

What will gaining the higher Academy status actually mean?

One of the main advantages of the higher academy status is that you get to play better Academies in the match ups that is the first I am looking into what other benefits, if any, at the moment to try and write something up on the changes to the academy if we progress up the rankings.

Please see new posting Elite Performance
