I think Harris' energy against tired legs can sometimes be enough to create for others. As you say, early days. Glass half full.
If you need further advice on the “olden days”, always remember that Billy5551 and Clingy are there to help out (no offence ever intended)! MASKY OF LLANDAFF
I agree it's early days for Etete as he's effectively stepping up a level and didn't have a pre-season with us. I think he has something there that could be ignited as he beds in.Some game time off the bench will help.
I just hope we haven't made a mistake with him, although I must say I trust Morison's judgement. He hasn't made a bad move yet with any of his acquisitions.
Like Watters, any shape of goal will lift Etete hugely. Right, off to be an archetypal Welshman and interfere with some sheep.
If we had a decent striker wed turn this around. We havent though. Saying that Harris needs to come on for Watters.
Got to get better at taking chances, and keeping onside Frustrating as didn’t start playing for over 30 minutes.
They are definitely snapping into the tackles quickly on us which appears to be disrupting us. Signs that we were just beginning to get to grips with the game when they go and score... We got lucky with that Weimann shot a few minutes later after switching off badly on the free kick. Hopefully we can make the most of that small moment of luck. Still very even but they look a bit sharper than us at the top end of the pitch.
Outplayed Outfought Outthought Out of the play offs. Colwill needs to start the next game and Etete as well as our other two strikers are very poor. And we need to sign another striker as well as a full back. Such a lacklustre performance highlighted by no one bothering to get into the box for O’Dowda’s cutback. Wurzels have done their homework on us and we need to step it up before the next game.
