If anyone is making the long trek to Bristol city on Saturday there is a away fans zone behind the away end at ashton gate.there is no pay on the day either as the game is all ticket
Hello Hull fans. You’ve picked a nice hot day to enjoy Bristol!! Safe journey! On the football; we have stuttered of late - some of our more, let’s say ‘excitable’ fans would say ‘collapsed’ or ‘become dire’, but the truth is we have become ‘ordinary’ in my book - win one, draw one, lose one blah blah. Last weeks defeat to a Middlesbrough side who are among the highest spenders in this league came as no surprise to me but to others it was unacceptable and the daggers are out for the manager - you wouldn’t believe it but they are - it’s the Bristol City way - and may be one of the reasons we have not seen the top flight for so long. Anyway, on our day we can be unbeatable - as Man U discovered, and more recently Sheffield Wednesday. However, Sunderland proved that you can get a draw even after being 3-0 down at half time, so I really can’t call this!!!!
I wouldn't say it's a Bristol City thing, it's modern football. The other day on here Adkins was criticised for "not knowing his best team" and tinkering more than Ranieri in the last couple of weeks. The results in that period were a 4-0 win, a 5-0 win and a 2-2 draw away at Wolves. Of course as soon as that run came to an end it was unacceptable just like your Boro result.
Great City fond memories of banging whores and scoring drugs in St Pauls/ Cheltenham Road area heard it's changed a lot since my Uni days gentrification and all that.
Had some good nights out in Bristol over the years back before marriage , or the glory days as I like to call them
Did an HND Engineering Design course after I was laid off from Fenners. It was a Government Youth Opportunities Programme to reduce the dole queues. The money was about thirty quid a week - I think that I was getting about twenty two quid signing on - but the clincher was that it came with a massive living away from home allowance. I rented a room for £15 a week and spent the rest of the allowance on ale.
I've looked online there are a few pubs for the away fans. I'm staying over in Bristol on Saturday. So looking forward to the weather staying fine into the weekend Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
