So this Saturday we go to Hillsborough. I will be in the home end for this, the Mrs is an Owl and her dad / partner are away so we get the season tickets. Saves paying £33 any rate. ( Don't laugh ) but weirdly IF we were to win this, beat Mk Dons ( Wendy are away at Derby next ) we'd be one point off the play offs. Now I know we're bloody rubbish at the minute ( I predict we'll lose 2-0 here ) but I guess lets see what happens. I expect Mick to play the usual suspects - quite looking forward to seeing Feeney play. He did play an actual RB last game in Foley ( absolute novelty ) so be interesting if he reverts to Chambo. Lose this, and with four to play it's gotta be Dozzell and a few other time. As ever, gotta get behind the blue men! Coyb! Line up thoughts?! Does anyone give a toss?
Going to Sheffield, but giving the game a miss.. Will spend the time (and money) revisiting my favorite watering holes from my University days. Fully expect us to revert back to the familiar back 4.. Stifle and nullify a decent Wednesday team and somehow come away with the win. Such is the torture of watching us at the minute I expect us to win this but then lose at home to MK. It's that hope that kills you.
Scowey if you're around a fancy a pint / moan then give me a message. Be good to see you. Come along to the game !!!!
A routine 2-0 victory for the Wednesday in this one, I fear. Our forwards have been misfiring and we've scored something pathetic like one goal in the last four? One victory in the last seven. We are not in good form and morale has plummeted, both on and off the pitch. Hope some of the youngsters get a chance in this match, but as it's our last lifeline to mount an incredibly unlikely late play-off push, I guess it makes sense to stick with the old, experienced heads, just to give them a final chance to prove us their recent levels of under-performance are but a blip. Enthusiasm for the final few games are minimal though, just looking forward to EURO 2016 and, hopefully, a summer of restructuring and investment.
Hmm, quite like the line-up. Can we get the 1st goal, and go off on a blinder? Come on Ipswich, make us shout & smile again!
Ahh... time for our Youth to show their footballing feet. Good luck Dozzell! Nowt to lose, season over, give them a go. The seasoned players dreaming of their well-earned rest....hmm!
