A slightly harder proposition than today, but logic says town win all day long. Our lost mojo from last 2 games is back, probably after some straight talking from the gaffer,a striker who's just remembered he's actually quite good(Hunty) and fantastic team spirit. A nail biting 2-1 and Murph to get to 20 goals.

ads, you do realise Murphy can't get to twenty goals if the scoreline is 2-1 right? He's only on 17 right now.

To maintain an automatic promotion bid we need to be going into these games expecting, and getting, the win. Won't be easy, but confidence should be back. New impetus up front from Sears and possibly Sharp shpuld see us alongside some of our midfielders coming back should see us to victory. 2-0. Both Murphy.

We did a decent job against, admittedly, a very poor Millwall side. I said it in another thread, but I was slightly concerned about our overly-direct style of play today. Recently, losses against Derby and Southampton aside, we looked to have overcome the reliance on punts up field, so when we did revert to this, it was a shame as there is a tendency to lose possession and take the sting out of potential attacks. Still, we got the points and I guess the players we have are, generally, suited to that style of play.

Brighton away in midweek will be a tricky match, but we have a good record against them. I'm going for a 2-1 win for us, hopefully Sears can get on the scoresheet.

Town win, Millwall dragged us down to their standard today, Brighton are better and that will suit us!!
Comfy 3 nil victory, Murph, Berra and Anderson

They seem to have struggled to score of late and Hughton has set them up to first and foremost be competitive. Another match that won't be for the purists.. (They never are when we're playing)

I fancy a win, of either the 2-1 or 2-0 variety. Hunt & Ando <ok> Another a scrappy win, but importantly another 3 points

If Hyypia was still in charge there I'd say we could count it as a win already.

However I think it'll be a tight game, 2-1 Sears, Murph.

I see MM has given the boys 4 days off, a good move if you ask me, by all accounts we did not press the ball as well as we usually do last night giving the Gulls to much time & space.
Boys are off until Monday now, their own mini mid-winter break.

I agree that the boys need a well earned rest and a chance to regroup.
I hope we can add one or two more decent additions before the end of next week and then seriously push on!
