Gotta post this early, one point off top 6, a weeks rest, bounce back and we're all smiles defeat and yeah.......

Could have Bishop back properly, Bru back and perhaps McGoldrick.

Sidenote - I read earlier today S.Hunt has started eight games - we've won 7 and drawn 1 of these ! Come on Hunty get back fit !

Having watched us recently I am struggling to see your reasons for this amount of optimism, we need a rethink in out tactics, it is clear MM is not in the mood to change things!

Come on Westy, can we at least get the last game out of the way before embarking on more team selection debate?
I agree that we do miss S Hunt a bit. His corners and dead ball deliveries from the left side are better than most.

It's up and a live thread San Diego - people can post on it come Tues/ Weds / Thurs if they would like! I can talk about Brentford until the cows come home but we drew 1-1 so I cannot change that - from what I saw last 30 - waaayyyyy too many aimless hoofs, Murphy missing a 1 v 1 and heard of a miss of the season from Murphy.

" Having watched us recently I am struggling to see your reasons for this amount of optimism, we need a rethink in out tactics, it is clear MM is not in the mood to change things! "

Hoppers, I'll always believe. I'm a glass half full kinda guy. We're one point off the play offs with 10 to play! Five off top. ( I don't quite know how ) if this is not enough to get me excited I may aswell stop with the game and enjoy other things in life but footballs a drug I love it and will until the day I die. I bloody love Ipswich Town!

Anyway, Boro aren't on the most clever run either. Lost at Forest, lost home to Leeds, lost at Sheff Weds. Our players have badly needed a small rest and we'll go again. COME ON YOU BLUES.

Would be just like Ipswich to go there and get an important win, with a strong performance.... only to go and lose at home to Bolton 3 days later.. <doh>

We shouldn't be as focused on tables, no team has got more than 76+ points and not made the playoffs.. 5 more wins (against anybody) and we should secure our season extension. Also, as an example Boro still have to play 5 of the current top 7.. of which they are one <yikes>

If we look after ourselves, then others will naturally slip up so it is still very much in our own hands.. what's left to be proven is whether we have enough about us to sieze the initiative and make it happen <ok>

We always seem to be up for it against the top sides so yes I'm confident, 2-1 City <ok>
