Bring it on! Warnock relishing prospect of facing Liverpool and Man United By Phil Gradwell Last updated at 11:00 PM on 4th December 2011 Many Barclays Premier League managers would be apprehensive if their next two games were away at Liverpool and at home to Manchester United. Not Neil Warnock. The QPR boss is salivating at the thought of playing at Anfield and facing the champions and insists his team will try and win both games. Rangersâ recent performances have largely been good and they deserved to beat West Bromwich on Saturday, but all they had to show for their endeavours was a first-half Heidar Helguson header and Shane Long equalised with nine minutes to go and the game finished 1-1. On a roll: QPR played well against West Brom despite being held to a draw An upbeat Warnock said: âGames like that are the reason weâre delighted to be in the Premier League. They donât come much tougher than Liverpool who are absolutely flying at the moment, probably the form team. Anfield away. 'And then Man United away who are the champions. I just think itâs exciting, itâs what Iâm in the game for and the fans are and the club. Iâm just looking forward to these games so much. We will try and get results in both games because thatâs how we are.â One reason for Warnockâs optimism is the form of central midfield pairing Alejandro Faurlin and Joey Barton. Warnock seemed to have a go at Faurlin straight after the game for allowing James Morrison to get away from him in the move leading up to West Bromwichâs goal but by the time he spoke to the daily press he had calmed down and said: âI think heâs a brilliant player and I couldnât fault him today. Premier ambition: Neil Warnock is looking forward to playing the big boys 'I was a bit disappointed with the (West Brom) goal but I thought him and Barton were brilliant, I thought they ran the show. 'I wouldnât swap them for anyone.' The midfield duo have been consistently good but Warnock has been critical of his central defenders, in particular Anton Ferdinand. The former West Ham and Sunderland star has been distracted by the John Terry race row, while partner Danny Gabbidon has been out-of-form. However, Warnock was pleased with his centre halves on Saturday, saying: âIf theyâd have been all right in the last few weeks weâd have got another six points against Man City and Norwich. 'It was good to see them back on song today. Theyâve worked hard this week and I hope their form continues because weâll need them in the next few weeks.' please log in to view this image iReader http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...t-QPR-facing-Liverpool-Manchester-United.html
were all loking forward to these games, points from these are a bonus, have been waiting for these games so long, will be my sons 1st visit to Anfield and he can hardly wait, hoping for a point but just hope not to get hammered.
I'm hopeful of a point at Anfield, that would be a great result. Man.U at Loftus Rd, I'm expectant of a repeat of the Chelsea game. Rooney getting rattled by the intesity of the crowd, Fergie not getting the respect he feels that his team is due, and the United players taking umbridge at this feisty little club not giving them space and time to play. A potential glory day for the SoopaHoops. Bring it on indeed.
I would be over the moon with 2 points from these two games... Followed up by 3 against Sunderland. That would make for a very merry Christmas.

Can we all just agree that Faurlin is not up Premier League standard, but we'll persevere with him just on the off chance there may be a decent squad player in it for us one day. "Superb vision and awareness" . Nothing to see here... Move along...
Just get pissed all night and don't go to sleep. R block can throw up on Nani when he takes a corner.
I don't get pissed up before a game, so the KO time doesn't really bother me!! "And then Man United away who are the champions." Someone better tell NW that it's Man U at home and NOT AWAY though, or we'll only be watching one team!!
