What are we talking here? Plain brown envelopes for refs to give us 96th minute pens?

He got lucky, Real Madrid beat them in the group stages, he got a lucky win against Manyoo, the rest I wouldn't say were the hardest of games all the way to the final.

He must have some degree of talent (that inter milan team wasn't the most expensive for example) but I agree he wouldn't be able to manage a team where he can't have who he wants. He'd actually make us more of an embarrassment with his constant railing against officialdom and slagging off other teams.

We simply do not have the players and untill the FA addresses the reason for that properly we're not winning anything any time soon - regardless of who the manager is. In the meantime let an Englishman who's earned his stripes do it.

I quite like Jose,it's just that his boss, his team and all his supporters seem to be a bunch of tossers.

So what if Real Madrid beat them in the group stages? Man United didn't win either game against them. And you say the route to the final wasn't that hard but Lyon and Deportivo were good teams back then.
