There's not a whole lot in that article I disagree with. No more than in your average Sun article anyway.

Chuckled at that. Still though, it's just an opinion on football. We all have different ones.

Yeah I know, it's a bit like "all the good players are good" though. To be honest Ian Wright probably didn't have all that much to do with writing the article anyway. Well if Harry can write for them then anyone can <laugh>

I would like to know his definition of unproven.

They've not played in the PL therefore they cannot be good (in Wright's world).

If he changed it to "unproven in the Premier League" it would be more acceptable, as the game is slightly different wherever you go. Still though, I think Hazard deserves a little more credit than he got there.

Very much so. Wright being ignorant or just The Sun's usual standard? (I don't buy the paper)

Going by his own argument, he'd never have made it out of non-league.

Eden Hazard was apparently "OK" in Ligue 1...20 goals and 15 assists last year.

From midfield. Yeah it's safe to say he's alright.

I don't know as much about French football as I do England, Italy and Spain but from what I saw Hazard looked better than Pastore last year, and Pastore is top class.

If he was right then we would have a ****ing awful league, considering that most of the players in the premier league come from abroad. I suppose that just shows how wrong he is because the Premier League is actually bloody awesome.

Well, that was basically just a transfer roundup. The one opinion in it is that Chelsea may have overpaid for Hazard. I can understand that opinion (not saying I necessarily agree with it, I have never watched Hazard play, and have never noticed him on FM either), but then you think that Liverpool paid £35 million for Andy Carroll, so Chelsea have probably got a bargain.
