Here is a video of a our build up to Nuri Sahin's winning goal against West Brom on Wednesday.

It shows our team patiently create a goal from an Andre Wisdom throw in near the half way line which is being faced by a fair few opposition players.

Assaidi takes the most praise. But the team was fantastic all round.

It was all so good but the bit I liked best was "Coates" forward pass after the inital interplay. Opened it up for Suso and such a releif to see the ball not played backwards.

And Suso and Assaidi's completely unselfish play.

The best part of the move IMO was Sinclairs run...and if I was going to be critical (imagine that eh <laugh>) Suso had two chances to put him through on goal. The way he bent his run was exactly what a good striker should do and jesus he has some acceleration. Was a very fine goal anyway and was nice to see not only a great cross but also men in the box <diva>

Ha,yeah it's a beautifully crafted goal alright and it's just nice to watch.(again and again <laugh>)

One little thing I noticed in the build up was Suso's head after he had set up Assaidi.

He know's he has created a dangerous situation and flicks his head up to check Sahin's position.

    I'm probably over analysing

For once, we had the ball in the final third and we made the right decisions.

Suso made the right choice by playing Assaidi. Assaidi made the right choice by squaring it, and Sahin made the right choice by hitting the ball high in the goal as opposed to the side.

Will the likes of Gerrard, Borini and to some extend Suarez make the right choices when they come back into the side? ...

No I noticed that too. It made me actually think; is this a training ground move wow! But yeah it's more likely it was just a "someone better bloody be there since I didn't shoot" look :D

Suso, Assaidi and Sahin could all come into the first 11 in the League. A good set of creative players.

Could make Suarez's attributes become better used to.

It was the best goal we've scored so far this season.

I like Rodgers' suppressed smile on the 40 second mark. It was as if he knew that was coming.

I agree. I would happily drop the likes of Gerrard, Shelvey, Borini or Downing for these 3. Suso, Assaidi and Sahin have intelligence and technique to match and they suit this style a lot better.

Just noticed this. I'm not sure whether Suso held it a little too long, or was always waiting for the right time to release Assaidi. We saw against Young Boys that he tends to hold the ball a bit longer than he should in attacking positions, but this time it worked out nicely. Obviously he'll only improve in that respect.

Great sequence of passes leading up to the goal and a well executed finish from Sahin. Hopefully we'll see more of these goals this season.

I like the fact that although the ball went back, at one point, it quickly got played to the other side and then forwards. I don't mind sideways and back passing providing the forward passes, when they come, are not wasted. <ok>

I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he meant to hold on to it for that long haha.

But he is an intelligent and technical player. I think he should be starting more now - he played a big part in the goal against Man Utd and then against WBA. Then I remember him playing a nice through ball to Suarez against Utd. He is the player who can unlock defences, a player that we have lacked for a few years.

We showed patience. Had someone like Stevie or Shelvey had the ball in the same situation, they probably would have tried to play a long, spectacular ball up front.

Yeah, there's a time for patience and a time for a more gung-ho approach. IMO, becoming a good team depends upon finding the right balance.

True - that's why I feel Gerrard would be an excellent option coming off the bench as he would give us a more direct approach.
