That's a really silly comment. Without Adam, we don't have a creative midfielder in the squad if Gerrard doesn't play! This match gives us the opportunity for him to get some match time so that if he is selected for Wolves his inclusion would not be so much of a risk. Personally I feel that Kenny will probably start him and let him play for 60 mins.
I'm sure Stevie is itching to play and KK will have already said to SG that he WILL play against Brighton and like mentioned give him 60 min will do him good This game would have been a start for Spearing but SG needs game time
