Friedel; Corluka, Dawson, Kaboul, Assou-Ekotto; Lennon, Livermore, Jenas, Bale; van der Vaart; Pavlyuchenko. Another game, another team of senior players mixed with less senior players. Not sure about that midfield, frankly.
Apart from Jenas and Livermore, that's how I hope we'd start against Everton. Is Huddlestone injured at the moment? I can't remember him playing in a preseason friendly yet.
That was quite awhile ago so he may be injured. I thought King was being brought back slowly and Gallas, well I just forgot about him. Still a strong team, though.
1-0 Brighton. They seem to have done all of the early attacking and go ahead with a strike from Barnes from a Makail-Smith cross. Wakey, wakey.
1-1. Kaboul scores a tap in, after Bale's cross is deflected over Brighton's keeper. What Kaboul is doing up there, I don't know.
1-2. Corluka makes a run down the right and drives his shot in off the near post. Seriously, I'm not making that up.
2-3. Livermore reclaims the lead for Spurs, after catching one of Brighton's players dawdling on the ball.
Brighton brought on a player called Noone earlier. I assumed that this was our OS' match-tracker failing to recognise the anonymous subs, but he's actually called Craig Noone. I hope that's not pronounced no-one.
