Ahh see we didn't even get told that. We just watch 22 blokes stood around doing nothing for what seemed like an eternity. I don't care if decisions are right or not and I don't care whether it goes for us or against us; I'll never accept it taking that long.
Anybody just watch the Woakes caught in the slips v NZ? The way it was reviewed, was absolutely spot on. The TV umpire is heard live on screen, and is explaining what he is looking at. Fantastic work.
Yep we all said same. They should have just looked at his “flick” & decided, that’s done. Farcical really. It just keeps giving.
In fairness, Sulemana did a lovely back heel flick tonight that set Dibling free, but then the ref called it back for a foul on KWP. Was annoying.
I not sue that is correct. How can any business nor be concerned with losing a £100+ mm revenue, when your turnover is about £200-£300mm. I imagine that are **** scared. Bit caught in paralysis, with no idea what to do
Not sure I agree. He has been awesome in.last couple if games. Let's get his value up for the January window
Just got home. Will give a more detailed summary tomorrow but that second half performance was our best display of the season so far. Dibling is a special talent. Lumley did alright - certainly better with the ball at his feet than McCarthy. Last 2 games should give a confidence boost to the players that they can compete in this league. Wednesday will be tough with so many players out but they need to show the fight they showed in the 2nd half tonight, even if we still lose.
Home now and a quick summary: First half was appalling. Like really really really bad. 4-0 at HT wouldn't have flattered Brighton. Second half though was far better and thought we were actually good value for our point in the end. Probably our best second half this season? More than a bit concerned about Sugawara. Started well but recent month or so he seems to appear quite a way off the required standard. Almost gave them a goal early on tonight with the same mistake which gifted Saka and was terrible for the actual goal too. Brighton clearly had a game plan to deal with Dibling - Namely trying to kick him off the pitch. I think the suspension is actually a blessing in disguise tbh and missing a game will do him some good. He really is a special player though, easily our most talented youngster since Bale. Ref was dreadful. Not necessarily for either team but couldn't seem to make his mind up between letting the game flow or blowing up for everything and ended up doing a bit of both. Was fuming when he didn't play us advantage fairly late on and didn't even book the Brighton player. Brighton fans were terrible. I thought our fans were bad but thought they were awful given they're currently enjoying the best period in their entire history. Lumley did my head in with his time wasting. Thought there was an opportunity to try and win the game and let's face it the point doesn't do huge amounts for us so seemed a bit silly to me. Diaz is an extremely poor footballer. Can't even put it into words. New Lincs fred coming That'll do for now. Will read everything tomorrow - UTFS
Not all will blame Russball. A noisy minority will put it down to woke lefty lawyers and Jeremy Corbyn.
I don't actually have a problem with the decision tbh though there's a clear lack of consistency (thinking Arsenal's goal where one of their players tried to head it). It's the time taken which infuriated me as much as anything. The ref and lino gave it after a fairly quick discussion - just get on with the ****ing game.
