Is it too early to start worrying about other teams results? We don't want to slip to 2nd for even a day, so I suppose a draw would be best as neither team then gets all the points. So early in the season, we don't know where we'll be and which teams will affect us, but I like being top.
Agree. I want to stay top. I'd quite like to see Poyet interviewed after a four nil beating where Leeds have kicked em off the pitch.
No it's not too early,if other teams that are near us lose we stay top even if we lose so it's good to look out for other teams results, the longer we're on top the better.
I wonder at what point Brighton fans will be grumbling what they spent on Mickael-Smith was a waste of money?
I think the focus has to be on what we're doing, not what everyone else is. That's NA's philosophy anyway, it has been from the start - just look at Huddersfield last season who were hunting us down right to the end, Nigel never allowed that to distract the team from focusing on themselves and winning every game.
Aha..! Cooly playing the percentages. I am of the same opinion. The lost point, is almost always the best scenario, for rivals depending upon the results of others. As everybody does - even Manure depend upon others failings to make their campaigns a little easier.
Brighton will be too strong for Leeds. It appears that we are both showing pretty strong form for this league. Both will finish top 5 in my humble...
I'm really not bothered about this game even remotely. If we win then we'll still be top so why does it matter?
Saints are exciting and enthusiastic and have Adkins as a manager. Brighton are boring and have....well guess the rest. They are going to be 1.0 specialists, which can also win a league..ask Arsenal.
Wahey 2-0,nice goal,Brighton for 3 goals? hmmmmmmmmmm.Poyet to moan and get sent to stands,he hates when things don't go to plan, probably accuse leeds of playing long ball, mind you he'd probably accuse barcelona of long ball if they beat his Brighton.
