The Seagulls share the same points tally as Leeds after three games. They won at Old Trafford on the opening day of the season, were held to a 0-0 draw against Newcastle, then beat West Ham at the London Stadium. Jeremy Sarmiento (Hamstring) and Jakub Moder (ACL injury) are Graham Potters only injury doubts whilst Ecuadorian Midfielder Moises Caicedo is subject to an apparent £42m bid from Liverpool, and may be omitted from Graham Potter's starting XI whilst his transfer gets finalised. Jesse Marsch must decide whether to tinker with a winning formula. With Bamford expected to miss out again through injury, the gaffer must decide whether he wants Dan James or Rodrigo to lead the line. Luis Sinisterra and Liam Cooper are both pressing for more game time following their return from injuries, though judging by their performance against Chelsea last weekend, it would be harsh to make any changes. Joel Robles will replace Klaesson who took a knock in training.
This is our toughest test yet. Yes, the Manure and Wet Spam sides they beat have started very poorly but they're a solid, dangerous team. They've got a few players that can hurt us. I'm hoping we can dig out a point but a decent showing even if they shade it wouldn't be the end of the world. If we took the points........ No. That's not Leeds is it. I bet teams fear us now though and looking at Sinisterra last night we have a few players who can get a goal out of nothing which is exactly what you need in the PL. You also need to be dangerous from set pieces which we are. I might have to pause my couselling sessions
Corresponding game last season we drew 0-0 for 1 point would be happy with 1 point again. Should field the same team as Chelsea game in my opinion, players coming back from injury should fight for their place
I would go in to this game expecting a loss in the last few years however I'm expecting a nice goalless draw.
2-1 to the lads for me, plus that Potter reminds me of that ferret face Southgate and needs to be pegged back a notch or two.
They battered Newcastle in the 0-0 draw. Point here would be a great result. We’ll be under the cosh for long periods.
I think a point would be a great result, I just hope if we suffer a first defeat of the season it is a respectable one. I would like to get points from our next two games but a win against Everton is far more important. As long as the lads on the field show fight and spirit and give it a 100%
I think a lot of supporters still see these as a team that they should rollover but they are a lot better than people think, as West Ham fans found out. We also don’t usually get much out of them so a point would be good for me.
