Hungarian defender - tall, good in the air (a bit like Hooiveld but not as good), only played a handful of games. He was on loan for the second half of the 2008/09 season when we were managed by Mark Wotte.
I took my interest in seeing that they've signed Jara on loan from West Brom. I've always been reasonably impressed with him, and I think he could shine in the Championship. Decent attack-minded defender from what I've seen. With Elphick and El-Abd both having serious injuries (I think the former is out for the whole season), and Brighton just suddenly leaking a few in (Leeds, Ipswich & Palace each scored three against them), it certainly does look like Poyet's decided to take action and get a few more bodies in.
He was rubbish from what I remember about seeing him play - very tall but seemed to get out-jumped by everybody else on the pitch. Never really got a decent run of games so can't really sum his ability up.
