Brighton line up move for QPR striker

POSTED BY SAM ROURKE ⋅ APRIL 2, 2014

Brighton are lining up a move for Queens Park Rangers striker Bobby Zamora in the summer.

The 33 year-old striker is a prime target for Oscar Garcia’s Brighton side and would join the south coast side on a Bosman. Zamora is seen as a beneficial addition to help bolster their frontline, which is desperately in need of some added depth.

Zamora has been plagued with injuries this season and has found playing time hard to get at Loftus Road.

The striker is set to be one of many Queens Park Rangers players to be offloaded in the summer to help reduce the astronomical wage bill the club currently has.

Zamora will join the likes of Loic Remy, Shaun Wright-Phillips and Junior Hoillett to be sold in the summer.

I can't see where this lad got the idea for this story. He's a Reading fan so there must be a good reason why he's writing about us. I hope it has some foundation, Zamora is one of the ones that need to be moved on early doors.

Zamora and swp are out of contract, this is the first that I've heard of Hoilett leaving so the article doesn't really hold up.

The important thing is Zamora will be gone in the summer, for me it doesn't matter who too.

Contract's up isn't it? He's gone unless there is some kind of collective madness and he's offered a new one.....

I'm struggling to think of a hated player whose in contract next season, nearly all if not all are leaving.
Cesar is probably the closest tova disliked player in contract.

Thank fc uk it's coming to an end. Seems we're not the only club with overpaid spongers on the books. Hoddle correctly pointed out the lackadaisical attitude of some of the Spurs players in the tunnel before their defeat to Liverpool at the weekend. WBA players seem to be at war with each other.

At least someone seems to care at WBA , giving the ball away on a 4 on 1 leading to an opposition goal is criminal.

Although I agree something is wrong with spurs, they remind me of us in that they will beat teams that they are clearly superior but lose against team around their own level because they don't give a ****.

Agree some of our players are overpaid and not good enough to get us promoted, but why do you "hate" them!? If they were Nowich players I could understand it, but these are QPR.

I don't now, have never and will never hate any QPR player. Managers? That's another question.

I hate them because they've leeched millions out if the club for no return at all.
They are sending the club on the way to bankruptcy.
I hate Norwich, not the players apart from Johnson.

AJ 4m for about 5 goals
SWP 14m for a single ****ing goal
    Young multi millions for nothing
Zamora, god knows how much for that cripple

That's 10m a season in wages just for those 4 and they offer nothing.
Actually, I take it all back about no one left to hate, henry will still be here.

I've only hated Hughes and Redknapp, for spending wildly and somehow getting worse. Some others have been crap but they were never given the backing the last two had.

    Why hate Henry?

If you don't rate him that's one thing, but why hate him?
He was MOTM on Saturday according to the Rangers fans and he always seems to give his all and care.

Cant understand that attitude towards Henry at all. He mighten be the most gifted player we have but he gives his all when selected.

Because seeing him in the team is the equivalent of turning up to see Santos playing up front. I don't like that sinking feeling of knowing we will be lucky to get a draw if he plays.
I don't hate him personally, but as a player, he's always been a talentless hacker when played for wolves.

I think we thought we were getting the other henry from wolves, Newcastle did it with Carl cort when they spent 7m on him after bobby Robson asked the chairman to "buy the big black lad in midfield" because he couldn't remember the name.

Are you completely joyless? This repetitive drivel full of 'hate', 'crap' 'cripple' sentiments is all over every thread like Japanese Knotweed.

Take some time out, relax, have a few beers whatever. DT clearly not provided the lady of the night yet, you are obviously in dire need of a blowjob.

Young " for nothing"? I saw him score a great "single f**king goal" at Stoke ,-) I don't hate any of them. Not their fault if they are paid too much, they are just like 99% of people everywhere, take what you can get, and can't say I hate 99% of people everywhere!
