FFS I'll make the Match Thread on Saturday you impatient pricks I'd go for: Chez/Martinez Bellerin Chambers Kos/Nacho Gibbs Flamini Ramsey/Rosicky Ozil Walcott Giroud/Akpom Campbell
I would give Sczezney a start for this one. ------------------Sczezney------------------ Ballerin---Chambers---Kos---Monreal -------------------Flamini-------------------- Walcott------Ozil----Rosicky---Campbell -------------------Giroud---------------------- Keep this 4141 going. Technically Brighton are my home town club so kinda got mixed feeling about this one. Cant see anything other than an Arsenal victory though.
Like your lineup and would pretty much go with the same except Giroud. I think we may need to rest Giroud and play someone else there. Play Walcott or Campbell there and bring in Gnarbry. That would still be a strong lineup.
I would keep Ospina in goal for continuity at the back. If Koscielny is not struggling with his Achilles I would start him. I'll give Monreal a rest. Give Flamini a game. But I will prolly bring Coq on 2nd half or vice versa. Aaron, Mesut, Theo and Tommy have to start though. please log in to view this image
No need to rotate too much. Our next game is a week later, and this is still our best chance to win something. I would only bring back Ozil and Walcott, in order to give them some game time. The likes of Chensey and Flamini can stay on the bench.
I don't see it as much of a risk to bring back Szczesny, he's a good keeper and its a good chance for him to fight back to try and reclaim his place, and keep Ospina on his toes. I think Ramsey also needs gametime, he looked very rusty against Man C - and it's always nice to be able to rest Santi and Sanchez without sacrificing too much attacking threat!
I tend to agree about Szczesny. Bring him back for this game and let him know that he's now the number 2 who will play in the FA Cup and will have to prove his worth to fight for the no1 spot. He's been a prick for smoking in the shower, but I wouldn't freeze him out completely.
I'd be tempted to go for quite a strong team for this game, maybe rest one or two, but we have a week after before our next game.
I tried to merge it but the new software ****ed up and created a mess. So eventually I had to purge it. Lo siento amigo.
As im flying into England to watch the villa game I would say we should rest all key players so nobody gets injured!
This is Arsenal, just because their not playing, doesn't mean they won't get injured/crippled/killed before the next match!
Given the results so far in the FA Cup I'd like to see us field a solid team here. ---------------Szcz----------- Bellerin--chambers--Kosc--Gibbs ----------flamini---Ramsey------ Sanchez-----ozil----Walcott --------------Giroud--------------- With rosicky, Cazorla and oxocube on he bench. I'd even be tempted to stick mertesacker in at the back... Think we should be taking the competition very seriously this year.
