Brighton have been charged with failing to control their players in the Saints match. Thought they would be in trouble with Taricco suggesting the ref had taken a backhander.

He crossed the line, you don't need video technology to see that. Pretty big fine & a bit of probation I reckon.

As if Nicola would waste money bribing a ref for a game we were going to win anyway...far too financially astute!

Yep. When a player makes the suggestion that the referee has been bought, by the opposition club, then it gets properly serious for the game.

Many more rights to be wronged and there'll be a shortage of horses in the southern region.

Brighton are a bunch of jealous c***s who can't take being beaten by a better team

As I've said before the team reflects the manager. You can't expect the team to be calm if the manager regularly loses his head. Taricco's behaviour is especially bad because he's the assistant manager.

they'll get fined for disciplinary at the end of the season for all the yellows and reds. Wonder if they'll pay by American Express?

I read on the brighton forum a lot of fans saying things like 'Why on earth has he got the back four niggling away at the opposition attack so much. The refs are getting wise to it'

So whilst the majority of Brighton's fans can't see past the penalties which weren't (glossing over the 4 that were) there are a few out there who see the game a little closer to a neutral's view.

Tarrico's treatment of the ref was probably the worst seen at St Mary's since Prutton.
