I'm a glass half full kind of guy, and am of the opinion that a loss is a loss no matter what the score is.

I've been wondering to myself what would have been better today, a closely fought 1-0 or 2-0 loss with a couple of positives here and there and some decent performances, or a great big thumping embarrassing hammering giving the players a well deserved kick up the arse and the manager and more importantly owner some serious ****ing thinking to do.

My answer: great big thumping embarrassing hammering

Surely this will show the board we aren't as strong as they seemingly thought and if Ashley wants to make money, he'll have to spend it in the summer in some reinforcements.

I can't see the more senior members of our squad (Nolan, Harper, Barton, Smith even though he's crap and not playing etc.) taking this lightly, the more inexperienced ones will have seen the fans getting ****ed off and leaving and I just hope between that and a good bollocking from Pardew there'll be a huge change in attitude in time for the next game.

Anyway let me know if you agree or disagree.
