Now he is a player whos always impressed me. 24 years old, is a great player in this league and looks like he can step up to the PL. We should be right on that for a couple of million even though he is a CM as Jenas, ONeill and Carroll are all gone by the summer. http://www.theargus.co.uk/sport/alb...ndow_watch__Bridcutt_makes_transfer_request_/
"Bridcutt has now made clear his wish for a move to the Stadium of Light." with old boss Poyet. Nuff said.
I expect the move has already been 'agreed' Handing in a transfer request isn't that common these days.
Agree very much with this, top player at the right age. Unfortunately a transfer request usually means an offer has already been made (probably turned down), most likely a Premier League club as I can't see him handing in a transfer request for a Championship club.
I would agree but Sunderland are in real trouble and the positions could be reversed in 6 months. Wed have no hope if it was Everton or a similar club in no danger of relegation.
I agree with you Norway. However, once a transfer request has been granted any club can then make a bid. Brighton would not have to sell to Sunderland & Bridcutt may prefer to join a different club that are offering a better package. I can't imagine that we will sign him but it would be nice!
Usually because someone has offered them silly money. I know who would be the first to moan about that if it were us.
There's a difference in offering silly money to a player on 10k a week than offering silly money to a player already on 50k a week, is 32 and hasn't played well for 3 years.
Definitely if logic was anything to go by. But now it seems players would take the gamble for 6 months of fame regardless of Prem position. You see it every January, us being a perfect example 12 months ago. What we should do is tap him up Make him join if we go up
