No Brian - NOT you ! but the 'directors' of both Gillingham FC, and especially those of Brentford. When Brian took the deserved applause of the fans - many of whom were not born even after Brian had ended his career, I noticed that NONE of the personnel in the directors section of the Medway Stand bothered to applaud him as Yeo walked alongside the stand - and took great trouble to show that he was appreciative of the praise of the 'ordinary' fans. and what was worse Some of the suited & booted brigade, wearing Brentford ties, had their backs turned away from the pitch as Brian went by them. Absolute Disgrace - On behalf of all decent football fans, can I say Sorry.
Even how bad that is, he knows the ones that matter are the fans, and i am sure he was appreciative of the reception he did get. On the side of our own top dogs, i don't have much time or respect for then anyway, as i feel they could do more to bring the fans closer to the club.
