Apparently they were lining up for them both and it could have been done - had to stop a pig just flew past my window.
The interview, the one you haven’t listened to. BT said they had offers for them and could have doubled what they paid for them.they havent been here a season yet Ashton ... and no one has mentioned them as being "doubled" in value where did you get that from! ?
not that interested cut and paste the relevant if you wishYou need to read or listen to the interview mate
makes more sense teams fishing for a deal ... but would it have paid off ... neither player may have wished to move to a lesser club! The interview, the one you haven’t listened to. BT said they had offers for them and could have doubled what they paid for them.
How can you comment on something that’s written or spoken in an interview if you’ve not listened or read??not that interested cut and paste the relevant if you wish

That was nothing to do with the conversation, because you didn’t read or listen to get the context..it is simple really .. its how people like yourself who have just asked the Q .... "oneforthebristolcity, post: 18190273, member: 1001243"]How can you comment on something that’s written or spoken in an interview if you’ve not listened or read?" .. dont apply the simple thing like actually reading it properly [ not the BT INTERVIEW but the example given within the context it is given! ]
An example was offered to the Q "why didnt we splash out on 1 more expensive striker " no mention [ by me ] of BT or MT or SS simply the pro's and cons of splashing out £x on 1 who would likely be mid 20's plus cost upto maybe £12m as opposed to 2 younger players who may or not become more valuable and would cost less on the wage bill and a possible forward thinking of one way it could pan out ..................
You’ve reverted to waffling to avoid the fact you’ve no idea what you’re talking about, because you couldn’t be bothered to listen to or read the interview, we’ve all seen through it, you aren’t fooling anyoneit is simple really .. its how people like yourself who have just asked the Q .... go back and read the threads................ I was replying with respect to an Q ... WHY DIDNT WE SPEND "IT/ ,MORE" on quality more experienced player! You’ve reverted to waffling to avoid the fact you’ve no idea what you’re talking about, because you couldn’t be bothered to listen to or read the interview, we’ve all seen through it, you aren’t fooling anyone
It seems to me that we will only enter the bargain basement of clubs that need to offload some underwhelming player because we can't, or won't, push the boat out a little into deeper waters because the cost is considerably higher.
The £10million striker who came off the Sheffield Utd bench against Leeds looked decidedly ordinary I'm wondering if I've been a bit harsh on Tinnion.
He's done really well with Bird, Knight and McNally and even Armstrong seems to be improving.
Anyone else agree ?
Hang on, more tablets, we're still in need of a 1st choice keeper.
Bloody Tinnion.
