No surprise there, he'd been on a sticky wicket for a while after the recent results against Rochdale and Sheff Wed
Not really paid much interest in Leeds to comment whether or not he was any good for them. They might be thinking judging on SoD's record or McInnes record in Scotland that we was a bit harsh sacking them. Biggest example is Pulis we all hated him, but he's never experienced relegation. Turned Palace from dead certs for relegation to a team looking to stay up and buying players like Tom Ince etc. Would we of taken him back if the chance arose? Do you think we would of got relegated under him last season? Or would he just been ****e again for us? At Reading McDermott was good, nice football to watch etc but sometimes the glove just won't fit.
We played ****e football under pulis the worsed ive ever seen down the gate and that was the main reason the fans went against him. As for SOD what a shower of **** his reign was, Ive always kept quiet on my SOD thoughts as the phoenix in me thought he may turn it around he didnt he had more than long enough As for the leeds guy no idea whats happening there but the supporters dont seem happy by what ever it is
What a bizarre state of events that is I never seen a manager sacked and then the club declare it was all a mistake before Leeds have been trying desperately to get the club bought by moneymen for a few years now - and that is what happens Be careful what you wish for People up here have been falling over in the streets all day - and its not just because they are off their t_ts
He has been re-instated because the Italian takeover had not gone through at that point and therefore legally had no right to sack him. Word is that when it goes through Monday/Tuesday they will resack him What a mess!!
The whole situation is bizarre. Apparently this Italian guy has wanted to get into English football for ages, after failing with bids for a number of teams. Based on some of the insane things he's done in Italian football, he'll probably run Leeds United into the ground. His takeover will be a true test of the "fit and proper persons test" of the Football League. If he succeeds in his takeover and starts ****ing things up at Leeds then in my eyes the test needs to be scrapped for a supporter-based vote.
At some point the FA need to "grow a pair" and start rejecting people under the fit and proper persons rule - Tan and Allam spring to mind here
I would suggest you stay off other teams boards if you are going to get upset and cry about it like a little boy
