I bet he can still play ... he was always so professional about keeping in shape.

Could be interesting to see how he gets on...

I see Ray Parlour, Martin Keown, Graeme Le Saux, Claudio Caniggia are also involved with El Tel acting as a Technical Director

I dont know how log Brian will be in the UK, but would it not be great if he could
be presented to the crowd on our first home game "what a reception he would surely get"

Back in June 2006 our hero said he was quitting International football after the USA lost 2-1 to Ghana in the World Cup. Just a few days ealier he was clobbered in their game against Italy

Brian McBride's first game in the FA Cup will be on 11th August. Here's a recent interview (ignore the video it's just adverts by his sponsor) -

Wouldn't it be terrific if the Club invited him to our first game of the season. I suspect they'd prefer to parade our new signings but with a little imagination could do both and guarantee a capacity crowd.

Well spotted Captain and the real side of life in football these days, at all levels. Sad really.

Wembley are in to the next round of the FA Cup winning 3-2 today. Brian McBride didn't score but apparently he played the full 90 minutes and looked really fit - quick sign him !!

Sorry for Brian, but I think it's a good thing for the tournament that Budweiser FC are out.
